Thank you for your interest in my Service Dog training company. I am very glad that you are reaching out to us. Chris, my son Donald and I are here to help you. I wanted to give you some information about us. If you have more questions, please feel free to give us a call. I know there is a great need in our community for affordable Service Dogs. We are trying hard to fill that need.
I always tell people that we have the very best job in the whole world. We get to help people and play with dogs all day!
I own a small family run business in Rhode Island. We train Service Dogs. I also have my own personal Service Dog. She is a four-year-old Siberian Husky. She was formerly a homeless dog, and I trained her for Service work with me. I have been working with dogs since 1984. Athena and I travel together doing public service presentations when we are not actively training with other dogs.
We are unique in the Service Dog industry. We do not sell dogs. We work with people who want to train their own dog for Service Work. We can also help people find the right dog for them. Sometimes you can give a wonderful home to a homeless dog and end up with an amazing Service Dog for you to partner with. We do not have any contracts to sign or any long-term commitments for you to make. We simply work with you, and you pay for only two hours at a time. We will teach you how to work with your dog to help you with your disability. Before we end our session, we will send you an email with your “homework”. This allows you to work directly with your dog and practice until our next session, in about two weeks, if you want to continue.
If you have questions or need help in between your sessions with us, relax. It won’t cost you any additional money. You can call, text, email or ZOOM call with us as often as you need to in between your lessons. We believe that we have the best customer service. Our business is based on bringing access and affordability to people who need Service Dogs.
Most trained Service Dogs cost between $20,000 and $30,000. We do not run our business this way. This is out of the price range for most people. Insurance does not cover any of this cost for you. With us, you are not paying boarding fees or for kennel facilities. You also create a very strong bond between the Service Dog and, you, the handler. You are in control of how much your Service Dog will cost. It will be far less than any other Service Dog training method. Our current rate is $235.00 per training session that lasts approximately two hours. Let us help you get the Service Dog you need, at a truly affordable price.
